Parkour-inspired video game

Project Feline is an action game created and developed by Raymond Cripps. This anime-style game features parkour elements. You will play Gabbi, a feline-human hybrid who can ride walls and grind rails at a fast pace. You will steer Gabbi around as she traverses a complex environment. You will have to jump from wall to wall and slide through tight spaces to complete your mission. Project Feline is currently a prototype, so expect a few glitches.

What is Project Feline?

The goal of Project Feline is to traverse various intricate environments. As noted, the game is heavily inspired by parkour, so instead of running, Gabbi will jump from wall to wall and use items in the game map to reach the checkpoints fast. The game challenges you to complete each level in the fastest time possible. More, it encourages competition by challenging you to beat other players’ times and scores.

Furthermore, there are orbs scattered throughout the map that you can collect for bonus points. You only have to run through them to get the points. However, there will also be robot-like enemies that will stop you from completing your mission. Don’t worry, though. You can slide through them and continue running. Sliding will also allow for tight high-speed control. Finally, you can jump from wall to wall to combo your speed and get more points.

Project Feline allows you to move Gabbi through mouse clicks. However, you will find that controlling Gabbi is hard, especially when she’s mid-air. More so, sometimes she auto-run on the walls instead of climbing on them. Some of the checkpoints are also hard to locate. With this, you end up running for so long before you can move to the next stage. Lastly, the run animation feels slower than the skate animation.

Still a promising game

Project Feline is a great video game to play, especially if you are into parkour. The game captures the thrill of jumping and grinding that real-life parkour offers. However, as it is in pre-production, there are various issues to the game that needs to be fixed, improved, and ironed out. Nevertheless, it serves as a nice showcase to a video game that shows great promise. This one's worth checking out and keeping tabs on.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
